There are 2 choices in how to conduct your NRA Basics of Rifle Shooting Class:
The first is an Instructor-led class, done completely in your classroom & range.
The second is a Distance Learning class. Your students attend the course live with you over Zoom, Skype or other online conferencing app. Then you set up a separate time to complete the hands-on exercises & shooting.
This instructor course is for EXPERIENCED shooters only. This is not a class to teach you how to shoot or work rifles. This class is to teach you the NRA methods for teaching a basic rifle student. You MUST be familiar with bolt-action, lever-action, slide/pump action, hinge-action & semi-automatic rifles.
This class consists of 3 parts over 2-3 days:
An NRA Basics of Rifle Shooting class (see above): We try to offer this class once per week, including the day before the Rifle Instructor course starts. Other dates can be set up. We try to complete all prerequisites during this day. (See below.)
